“The End by Icon Visions” was the final project and a summary of what Icon Visions has been set out to do from the beginning.

When art museum Copenhagen Contemporary invited Icon Visions to do the project, Cecilie Jørgensen (Founder & Creative Director) knew exactly what se wanted to do: create a stylistic room that embodied the DNA of Icon Visions and blurred the lines between art, fashion and pop-culture.

On January the 25th 2024, Icon Visions invited their audience to a total-installation consisting of video & audio works, live ICON TV, a merch-shop, a runway show, pop concerts and DJ-sets by prominent acts from the musical landscape of Copenhagen.

THE SHOW

OUT OF STOCK

This was the first and final runway show by Icon Visions.
Showing Icon Visions pieces created throughout the years and styled together with our The End merchandise.
We worked with a cast of 30 young people in their early twenties. This was a celebration of Copenhagen youth culture which has always been the main focus point for the clothing we’ve created.

THE SHOP

OUT OF STOCK

We designed a silver inflatable cube as the room for our merch-shop.
The silver cube separated the merch-shop from the rest of the room, but would also become an installation within the room. The audience would use the silver surface as a backdrop for their party-pictures during the evening.

Inside the merch-shop guests could get The End merchandise consisting of t-shirts, hoodies, posters, totebags, tape and zines. All the merchandise was designed by Cecilie Jørgensen with graphics by BRINT.

The interior for the merch-shop was kindly provided by the design and architecture company Spacon & X.

THE PARTY

OUT OF STOCK

The event unfolded as a singular opportunity for the audience to immerse themselves in an aesthetic steeped in nostalgia, youth and pop culture. It culminated in a series of memorable moments - a final dance, a poignant farewell kiss and a showcase of the creativity that encapsulates Icon Visions.

The stage was graced by live performances by The Bird and Infernal, as well as DJ-sets by Esben While Kjær, OQBQBO and Ryong b2b Angel Wei.

AFTERMATH

OUT OF STOCK

The following days after our party we exhibited the aftermath as an installation. Guests of the museum could experience video and audio works, the Icon Archive and our merch-shop while they wandered around empty drink cups and cigarette buds.
